A few fine suggestions m8, i particularly like the one about somehow
inculcating arm wrestling into the educational curriculum.
For example a professional chosen by the B.A.F. and in agreement with
the committee to attend schools perhaps once a week or once a month
as part of the P.E. departments annual programme.
This would generate many practical benefits such as:-
More awareness of a.w. in the U.K.
Prospective future a.w.'s.
Support from the local communities.
Support from local authorities i.e. AMBULANCE!!!!! service.
An additional effort in each community to combat government issues such as obesity in children.
The opportunity to socialise outside the home.
As well as these practical benefits, i feel a.w. is a family oriented sport.
There may be only one member of a family competing but the whole
family from new borns to grandparents are actively involved, giving they're
support and encouragement.
Thumbs up for the lottery idea.
