just go and have fun stop worrying it's a novice comp I used to pull them almost on a weekly basis,and that was the only way to learn to many novice pullers pick and choose there comps not that there are many per year anymore but the only way to get good is by pulling all the comps you can as many pulls as you can and pull the pros also get the experience in all levels win or lose just pull.

Btw il be taking a freak with me in the heavyweight class

Yes mate, we got Andy The Animal Wallace and Alex The Aggressor Atkinson, so should be a good comp

What weight are your two lads pulling in m8?

There's going to be a few people to watch closely in this comp.
Anil is a good choice to take the title if he's under 80's but i think if
Stephen (Devilman) can stop his hit we could see a few great wars.
Hard to pick a winner here but for an under 80kg guy Stephen is very
strong and getting stronger.
Had Leon been pulling he would have been my first choice for the win.
Anthony's matches will also have a lot of onlookers since he is coached
by one of our countrys best. (No pressure m8)
I'm unsure if James Green and Wanye Spicer will still be pulling at this
level but think the -95kg class is going to be awesome.
With uncertainty if they'll be pulling -95kg or +95kg my choice to look out
for are: Donald Fraser, Jason (Caveman), Martin, Chris Thomas.
Depending on who's left in the +95kg Ricky may make a good debut here.
Can anyone tell me if big Stephen Sowah is pulling
Even with a third place at the Nationals i'd still be expecting him to pull
this comp.

Leo Findlay is a man after my own heart.
This young lad trains relentlessly with me and has a hunger any coach
would be proud off.
With only a few months of training under his belt it's hard to say how he'll
perform with this comp only 6 weeks away.
Another novice with freakish wrist strength, (remind you of anyone)
this lad is weighing in at 83kg and is already wrist curling 60kg.
His technical ability is what needs to be on form, especially if some of
the experienced guys like James Green and Wanye Spicer are taking part.
He continues to show improvement and you can't ask for anything more
but like i said........'HE'S HUNGRY!!!!!!!!!!'
With the support of the pro's and a decent turnout, this comp will be a WHOPPER!!!!!!

Dean please do, would be great to see you again and hook up mate on the practice table. Is Steve Sowah gonna be there competing ,i guess he cant after competing at the British(excuse my ignorance). Would have liked to seen how Rob would do against him.Robs just got back from S. africa in Worlds Strongest Man he didnt make the final cut unfortunately.
Comes back and does 2 reps on the 18inch deadlift with 460kg!!!! il probably get toprolled in the first round but dont think he will!

Stephen should still be allowed to pull in the novice comp.
Although he did do very well at the pro's, he shouldn't be prevented from
entering just because he's a naturally big and strong guy.
Regardless of natural size and strength, novice is still novice and pro is pro.
