stuart not wrestling at the british he's been going to the phisyo for last 10 weeks with shoulder problems from arm wars ... he has retired on the left arm he's been in pain at work every day so he has had enough & may be stopping wrestling on his right arm as well...

That's a massive shame, i was hoping he might have pulled 90, give me a tough time!!!
Hope he get's well and the physio goes well, it would be a real shame if he retires from armwrestling but you have to do whats best for your health.

Well said Dan, health does come first but for some it would be hard to stop competing in the sport they love. If Stuart has still got a few pulls left in his right Nick, i think it would be wise for him to use them in the competitions that he'll get the greatest rewards from. No point wrecking your own body unless it's really worth your while. I know i wouldn't.

Only 4 days to go. I can feel buzz way up here in Scotland. I'm backing Ted Wilson, Chris Ham, Craig Sanders, Andy Barker and Nick Hall. Best of british to everyone else taking part.

Is this event open or just for pro's

As far as I know, anyone crazy enough can enter... Count me out this year !

Im not. Too fat, too weak, and now ive got man flu , and a dose of pleurisy ) dodgy lung thing. ( my healths not good at the best of times. )

hey, im one of the best knitters in the uk.....

I could use a new woollen sweater for the winter.

I won't be there due to all this moving house, etc.
