There's bound to be potential in Wales, again that's an opportunity to promote awareness. If the B.A.F. can get the whole country involved there would be a better opportunity to try and get it into the olympics. After all, if we can't get our own country involved what chance is there of an olympic committee taking it seriously.

It would be nice to get Wales into the fold but would take considerable man hours and funding to be able to promote there,unless we could all meaning all armwrestlers employ a trusted member of the armwrestling community..

Thanks Paul, i suppose it would take a lot of man hours to set up a base and have someone tutor there. Maybe it would be worth while advertising in writing, perhaps to youth clubs, fitness centres and academys. Maybe in the form of a questionnaire or online questionnaire to see if we get any feed back. Need to plant the seed.

Paul there's nothing wrong with individuals show support for their, country. It's just the idiots who live in the dark ages, who watch Brave heart and vise versa that need to recognise we no longer live in a society were thatch roofs claymores are a normal part of every day life. We're all brothers, some are ignorant enough to think that because they have a different accent they are in some way superior to others. It's no different from saying "a white man is not the same as a black man". I was genuinely grateful for the respect i received when i came down to the british with my family and i like to repay kind for kind. Respect earns respect.

There is also a Irish and Northern Irish arm wrestling federations, I found them both just by googling them. An email from one of the BAF guys and we could really see a British event.
