As many of us will know Ye Olde Hunterscombe Arms Bath Rd Slough thanks to the commitment and dedication of the slough slammers is fast becoming known as a centre for armwrestling both in the armwrestling community and outside as well which is good for our sport as what better place to have armwrestling than your local public house! Historically it must be remembered that armwrestling itself originated as a tavern sport hundreds of years ago and surely it is just as relevant today in this kind of location as it was hundreds of years ago.I feel that more public houses & taverns should support and promote armwrestling in its serious form within their walls as surely this is as good for their business as it is for our sport.I assume Ye Olde Hunterscombe Arms is an independant free house free from all the commercial restrictions of the brewery chains on what is good for business.Is Ye Olde Hunterscombe Arms Unique as the only armwrestling public house in the uk? does anyone know of more public houses that support and have armwrestling in its serious form in the uk?
