| Sorry for asking the obvious question then m8 but why change it or put a different weight system in place if this one is used by the majority Is there a benefit because i'm under the impression it's more of a hinderance. |

Iam not saying change it bud but i am a fan of those weights always have been i dont think having 2kg over your main weight is good but set weight classes of 68,73 etc would stack classes a little bit more and fall inline with some other countrys comps, but it all depends on the person really and people will always have a favourite weight and that be what ever there closest to there has been lots of debate over weight classes and many used over time. how would you see it has a hinderance pal?

Maybe you should intensify your routine, that way you can still eat as much crap as you like. It's not dieting that's important pal, it's training. Yeah come on Dan, 5 days a week training isn't enough

| Also Mark i didnt say there was benifits pal just i liked the classes lol,iam a fan of everybody making the weight bang on the nose and if you cant make it down drop the fat and like you said get the cardio done haha without me blabbing on about before i was ill i was always lean and around 103kg fitter than a bel vue greyhound the weight was easy to shed, but since my illness and having to take beta blockers my heart rate never gets to a cardio workout nevermind a 130beat fat burning 1 For the british i took in a total of 1550cals a day 3 protein shakes 2 meals 1 being 6 egg whites with half tin of beans, and the other 200g of chicken with 1 wholemeal toast and o bowl of cornflakes after tea for a sweet it added up to around 20g fat,230g protein and 100-120 carbs and it took 4 months drop 13kg haha | |

I'm cool with those weight classes m8 but was talking about why they were changed to the classes that we are currently using. As for the hinderance, it refers to the fact that the classes we are currently using seems to cause difficulty for some individuals when trying to make the grade. I'm interested know why the current 65,70,75,80,85,90,100 and 100+ was put into effect if the classes you've described are more widely used and if the 65,70,75,80,85,90,100+ classes have a benefit. |

| Hi mate I wouldn't say they are more widely spread but if you look at alot the comps around the world they don't always follow 65 etc and I beleive it was WAF who started this and others followed suit, yes people will always struggle to make weight and as you say it's up to that person sort that out,it is your responsabilty make the weight of the comp your entering and not the weights to change around you | |

Haha lol, it's not how many days training that's important, it's the type of training that's done in the time you have that makes the difference. Come and do one of my workouts!! A combination of Olympic, Power and Strongman lifting, with Kettle Bells, ropes and high intensity interval cardio, then there's the table stuff!!
