- question..... so say i enter preston , and finish 9th in the under 70s (as theres not a 65 ) does that give me 9th as an under 65 puller or 9th in the under 70s cos thats wot the comp was ???
My proposal is that if you've still finished above all other 65kg pullers on that day, you get the full 20 points for your weight class,.

| Yes. That's pretty much it, if i miss the cut off for 90 and have to pull 100, i get points at 100 not 90, the points are non transferable. | |

| looks good, the idea of only giving points per classes makes more sense too. Depending on the classes at events it might make some areas more stacked than others.
What previous events are going to be used to start the ranking off, or will it be a clean start from now?

just throwing in some ideas ... This is why I'm saying that the comps on the points list have to include all the weight classes or do what you have said Dean (if you come in higher than all the 65kg wrestlers in the class you get the points for the 65kg class). I don't agree that you have to make 65kg in this instance because it might jepordise your strength against the bigger men on the day. It's not the 65kg guys fault that there was no 65kg class!
