Definitely, like Dan said 'this will put an end to the debate of who is and is not pro'.
It will also encourage better turn outs at comps.

As i'm not a member of the Baf I can't comment without looking like i'm living in the past.!!
I think that alot of things can be changed for the better!
I will put my point of view across when the people in power ask me !
I do believe in a points system but all areas must be equal thus spreading the control back to the people.
If all your efforts are adsorbed by one organization then why bother to promote at all !!!
These are some of my points of view but I'm commenting from the outside of the fed.
I would become a member but doing things a very different way from the fed Is a bit of a problem and don't want restrictions !!
I hope this helps Terry.

Hi Rod, what is being proposed is not about power or control, it's simply a way of establishing where we all stand. It's also not about restricting armwrestlers or promoters, we simply want a ranking system that certain events count towards, like the Premier league in football, teams still go and play european and cup games, none of which count towards their standings in the league.
If people like yourself want to run comps without BAF sanctioning, it doesn't mean you or any one else who pulls these comps can't take part in BAF events and have a place in the rankings.
No one is being marginalised or pushed out.
