yo leon the thickness of the handle is just under two & half inch or 60 mm.

I bought one of his rolling thunder handles at Arm Wars, it's excellent quality and works very well at a fraction of the price

Yeah, i'm going to give Ted a phone tomorrow. There's still a few pieces of equipment i need to get. I like the look of the actual rolling thunder handle with the torsion spring inside.

Haven't seen or heard or the 'torsion spring inside', what's that for ?

I think i actually seen it on one of the links in the forum. Basically there's are torsion spring inside the part you grip which causes it to tighten the more it's turned. You can turn it before going through the motion so that even before you begin to hook in there's tension trying to stop you. It can also be rotated in both directions. So basically as well as moving weights there's an opposing force directly in your hand.
