ARMFEST UK DEBUT COMP SATURDAY 7th DECEMBER.

At last i can confirm i will be running a comp in North London in Association with The London Minotaurs on Saturday 7th December at Queensmead Leisure Centre Victoria Rd Ruislip. As it is early days yet the format has yet to be decided,but the aim is to have something for everyone.There has to my knowlege never been any armwrestling tournament in this part of the uk and my aim is to do something about the lack of comps in the London area. So having said all this is anyone up for this? But to get things started i need a compere & referees etc. Can anyone offer their services in this capacity?

The format is likely to be as follows:-

All heats to run parallel on two tables, all finals on a single table
Novice Light Weight (right arm only) -75kg Double Elimination
Novice Middle Weight (right arm only) -90kg Double Elimination
Novice Heavy Weights (right arm only) +90kg Double Elimination
(Anyone who has won a British Tournament or an international title will not qualify for Novice event)
Pro Light Weight (right and left) -75kg Best of Three
Pro Middle Weight (right and left) -90kg Best of Three
Pro Heavy Weight (right and left) +90kg Best of Three

Top three out of each weight will receive a framed certificate
Supermatches and a Grip Event are still possible so any ideas are welcome!
