When is the British Novice Championships this year?

How did this inbalance evolve with not many in the south?

As far as I know for years the British Pro and Novice was held in the south London.

Until 1996 Pete White organised the British to be at the Monoco Ballroom in Hindley, Wigan.
Team papers was signed from North, North East, Scotland, South and Midlands.
It was scored on points.
The North won and its been held in the North most of the time since.

Thats as I remember.
If anyone knows better then Pray Tell ??
