he's been very sick on friday & saturday being sick

but today he's ok trying to talk a little bit more

he will of been in a week tomorrow.

One day at a time , hes still a young man, and from your description of him a strong one at that,
when you've got time Nick keeps us posted on his progress .

he has got to have 2 more days of bed rest ...then it time to work on his speech
& his right arm at the hosptial..

Thats good news mate... It all takes time im afraid, but he will get there...

There's a history of strokes in my family and I actually cared some of the time for my grandad for 6 years after he'd had one, thinking of you and Stuart mate. If your Dad has a strong will and is determined to recover that's most of the battle!!

Hi Nick at least hes improving
As Mark say's on the phone , im a carer looking after ppl in their homes , one of my clients had a stroke last year ,
She was found lying on her bedroom floor 4 days after taking the stroke
DVLA said she would have to resit her driving test .
She has been taking driving lessons again since Sept last year, Mary is 67 .
Determination is what keeps her going and the fact that she doesn't want to pay to use public transport
Especially when her car is sitting outside
