I think Pawel means do full range movements for your first training set then go to the half moves, I'm guessing for the purposes of warming up and stretching.

If you want to build bigger arms, do full range movements, but if you want to concentrate the training to be more arm wrestling specific, do shorter movements. You can still make size gains this way but it's not bodybuilding!

I saw a video of Ronnie Coleman doing 21's, you do 7 half range in the bottom part of the curl and another 7 half reps in the top part of the range, then finish with 7 full range all without rest. I tried this and it hurts like a b*****d, great for strength and endurance.
