WHAT IS THE FORMAT FOR EVENTS?

As someone who is new to AW an explaination of how to enter events would be helpful,as there are many newcomers like myself who feel intimidated by the the ritual and procedure surrounding Events as it appears one has to jump several hurdles before even getting to pull at table! First hurdle REGISTRATION.for those that have never done it this seems like some sort of interview in The dragons Den! second Hurdle WEIGH IN. To those of us who were brought in weight by STONE weight classes are like a foreign language! How does my 12.5-13 ST translate into KG? To make it more intimidating i have heard Weigh Ins are done IN THE NUDE.Is this so?As i have visions of The Hostess watching not just the scales but those on them too! Third hurdle. WAITING FOR THE MATCHMAKER TO ALLOCATE YOUR OPPONENT. Like waiting to see the tooth fairy! Finally you make it to pull at table! How many pulls do you get after all this ?

Who is giving you this info because it is way off
1. fined a club to train with
2 when you can wrestle safe you enter a novice comp
3 weigh in you just get on the scales and thats what class you are in ( not nude no one wants to see that)
4 pull the best you can and good luck
try and get to the British and you will see a lot and every one will help you get going

I read that according to the rules of the WAF Weigh ins are done in the nude to ensure accuracy.
