Well how proud am I !!! - You can kill me later kid ... but some things have gotta be said, so here goes...

Just over 18 months ago we nearly lost you - not something I like to think about very often and now ... well looking at you it's hard to imagine you were ever in that dark place.

We have all watched you frustrated that your body wouldn't always do what your mind and heart wanted it too, sitting back watching others take what you had achieved, but none the less giving support and advice to others to help them achieve their goals and quietly, ever so quietly with the supoort of 1 or 2 working hard to get stronger and fitter.

Your strength of mind, sheer determination and bloody stubborness got you through and contributed to were you are at today - to win any competition is an achievement, but for you to win yesterday ... Well that's just the icing on the cake - You did what many, including the medical men, thought you may never do again.

I knew you could do it kid ! Well done !

Big congrats to everyone else who entered and won their matches !

To those of you who managed to sneak a rung up the ladder while the 'lion was sleeping' - WATCH OUT - He's back!!!

For myself to have the privilege to be in the same competition as Paul Maiden is simply awesome.

I really enjoyed the table time he gave me after the comp and all the advise he gave during it.

Thank you to all of you who shared respect, love and prayers for Paul when he needed it most - his family will never forget the support you gave us.

Indeed it does Angie haha you remembered give me chuckle of day that but Georgia will keep me in check if I stray she's incharge of the diet now and she's the one that makes me go train in garage in -8 lol there's alot of people to thank in one way or another everybody for there support and kind words,nick for over seeing the vast majority of my training, me dad for going in garage freezing and spotting the wrist curls 3 days a week when his fishing programmes on ha me mum for ironing me gym stuff Manda for the words only a sister can say and me porg who has been patient in my many mood swings and rants and the stairs that say don't eat that biscuit

If I can inturn help anybody please dont be afraid to ask I no I may be somewhat a intimidating character but it's all show and face so please ask away, if I dont answer any pms for any reason pm Georgia or nick n il get message asap

As I'm fairly new to this sport, I didn't appreciate Paul at his prime (if that's the right term), but I respect anybody for making a comeback and look forward to enjoying his talents on the table for many years to come.
