Events: Tri-Grip Challenge #4
[Three holds in any order, with a maximum of 60 sec rest between each attempt – Half a Penny, Shallow Hub and Pickaxe Lever to Rear = Total time
Weights:
Standard A = Half a Penny Hold = 14k, Shallow Hub Hold = 21k, Pickaxe Lever to Rear Hold = 5.6k
Standard B = Half a Penny Hold = 10k, Shallow Hub Hold = 15k, Pickaxe Lever to Rear Hold = 4k
Standard C = Half a Penny Hold = 6k, Shallow Hub Hold = 9k, Pickaxe Lever to Rear Hold = 2.4k
On standard A & B a minimum of 20 secs total must be achieved, any time is valid on Standard C.

2 attempts allowed on each challenge if you wish.

There will be no novice supermatches? I assume by this you mean absolute beginners who have never pulled a comp before as there were a few last time.For the purpose of Rampage 8 a novice should be defined as someone who has never pulled a comp before and has been armwrestling for less than a year,as it is unfair to exclude those in the upper levels in this category who are good enough to pull supermatches.With this in mind may I suggest Rampage 8 follows the format of the North vs South comp with a combination of supermatches & an open comp so that everyone gets a chance to pull. Anyway following my performance last time against colin taylor I would like to take him on again if he is up for it.

I admire the step up but I wouldn't think that because you beat me 12 months ago (my mum used to beat me when I was 12 btw) and Craig didn't walk through me yesterday that you are now at his level... Fair enough, you did show me respect, I'll stop the banter mate I'm confident I'd have beaten you though for sure. I spoke to Nick Hall yesterday and he thinks this match is too big for Rossendale Rampage and will be best suited in London.. so, do you accept the Battle of Britain match in the Arm Wars Super Series - Televised!!!

How can you not want that match and want it at Rossendale instead???

Arm wars is a very personal thing. Some pullers want to pull for TV & some want a different credibility by pulling other high level comps. Personally i would rather spend 7 tonne competing at Nemiroff overseas than spend it in London plus the time i will have to take off in our peak season. So here's what i can offer - We pull at the Rampage & settle it like men or I am willing to show up at the NYC in January or early February & not pull the open just so we can have a super match under BAF. Up to you pal, your call

Fair play to Nick as it is a big match. I would now like to withdraw my self completely from the Rampage & pull you on both arms in November at the British Novice (if it's in November). What you reckon??
