BAF please read

Hi so myself and Dan were talking today and was mulling over a few ideas

Medals instead of trophies, with certificates for top 3,then certificates of participation for everybody

weigh inns to be conducted by 2 officials at the venue signing of the person has per witness

making the weight classes every 10kg to make classes worth pulling in some classes instance

use of two tables until the finals

Ok so will there be the option to weigh in the night before?

I agree with all that other than the 10kg weight classes.

P.S. Aren't you and Dan part of BAF??

Yes we're are hence the little chat,but we thought of throwing the ideas out there so people could have a look,the reason we spoke over the 10kg differences is because you have 9 men's classes and about 50 entries which leaves most classes drained I think 80kg had 3 guys supers had 1 guy 70kg had 3 or so , not nothing is set in stone it was general chat but I know if I was going to be a medalist I would want to at least win a pin and not just get 3rd

I would relish the challenge of trying to beat Neil,Garry,terry,dan,etc and at least you no you won your title then.

These things haven't even been mulled over by the BAF yet so no changes apart from the date change is in affect.

But I would expect weigh inns to become extremely strict so make weight there will be no allowances

where will the weigh inns will be done ?

I am booking a room for the Friday day before also is Garry so I shouldn't imagine it being a issue has I have spoken to Dan and terry just waiting for Neil to come of holiday and then announce it,a number of people have messaged me over this point and just to put minds at rest nobody will be weighing in at home,abroad apart from In front of two officials.

I hope this point is cleared up.

I'll agree with everything but I don't think we should be changing weight classes this year see what the numbers are like if it's a bad turn out than think about making less weight classes jmo.

I think all weigh ins should be at the same time. You wouldn't see competitors weighing in at different times in any other sport. I have never though it was right for some to weigh in on Friday night and others Saturday afternoon... Makes no sense.

Matt it's used at most contests and Always done with WAF so it's nothing new
