PostSubject: British Contenders   British Contenders EmptyTue 25 Jun - 16:34

Well its nearly that time of the year and its were most start to get excited has the years  training hopefully come to fruition
Hall Pickup Sowah etc will be eager to retain the crowns won in 2012

Gaps have ben closed certain clubs have been a little quiet waiting to release the caged beasts that have been rattling at the doors, chopping at the bit to reek havoc on the 7 by 7 squared circles

So who will win the prestigious titles? will we get overwhelmed by the Scottish invaders and there never-ending quest to gain a foothold in the crowns so dominated by the English counterparts?

65kg class wets my jagger type lips with perhaps the most exciting class recently vacated by the new Arm Wars World Champion Ted Wilson,Roger the legend returns to the class so once ruled by the King,Stone with a new found belief he can over the world,Knowles ever quiet but forever dangerous,Waters looking to hurt the world in poland,Blooms wanting to pose a threat and show why they have the strongest pound for pound strongest hands in the world so much to savour in the lightest class of the day.

Stephen Kirlew has announced he plans to follow Pete Henderson and make his life a misery but after Petes astonishing display at the London event has Kirlew underestimated this savage?
A year will have past since the annual Andy Barker surely to make his return class 85-90 i should imagine making it a 10kg spilt most will do there best to avoid.

I havent seen to much of Paul Waters this year but in the weigh of the last rumour hes 93kg and awesome already a former National title he is certainly one man i want to see,Ackers will more than likely choose his weight on the day, been a little quiet has of late but i am sure he will be extremely  strong and ready.

Jason Kelham left hand could cause serious issues a ever present in this event and each year gaining great strides towards the gold not silver medals that await on the day,Stan Dickenson the Anvil my old sparring partner and good friend will be hoping to leave in whats to be his last year with a BOOM BANG POW can the old fella pinch just one more title to cement whats been a amazing career

there are alots to mention yet weeks to go so i think so more updates and storys will no doubt hit the news Very Happy

This will be my first time at the Brits! having contested the new year cup in the lions den in January this will be my greatest challenge so far! My preparations for this are well under way and i am intensifying my training campaign,as i am fully aware i will be facing some tough opponents and will be ready for whatever comes my way! I am not giving any secrets away as to what i am doing in my secret training campaign as i do not want to reveal exactly what i am doing to prepare for this so the opposition does not get my secrets to gain advantage!
