How much to spectate?

Hi.
Nothing.
But your best bet is to have a go, as you will wish you had once it starts.
Cost is £20, enter the comps, and your food, all home-made too.

It's never about being strong enough, because if you wait for that date, you may never start. The most learning you will ever do is by competing.
It's a safe sport, and the worst you'll get is rough skin - haha.

There will be plenty all around the world at the other venues competing, and some of these will be first timers.

Give it a go daz, I entered in last one for first time and really enjoyed it. David and liz are very helpfull with anything you don't Understand and will go over things in a lot of detail. Food is great too. Like David said worst you'll get is rough skin and the best you can do is get a world record!!

Two huge big home-made pies for tomorrow. These are massive! Elizabeth minced all the meat from the butchers.
They have WSH 2013, and PIE on the top of them.

Can I have one of those instead of a medal if I win

I did terrible but had a go anyway and the one thing I did OK with..

I just missed out with beating Tom Hollands British record  

Well at least beat the Bloom Brothers at that one.   

 

We've nearly got all the results so far, and are just waiting for one leg's results.

I've just read Ivan B. is tired, snap, so am I, and I didn't compete LOL!
We've just finished taking all the marquee down and putting all the weights, food, and other stuff away.
Phew - but makes it an easier day tomorrow.

Some great things from today's comp, but the best for me, was the fun and camaraderie!
Well done to all for making it a great day.

Results, all the World and British records, pics, etc will all be sorted tomorrow.
