| Sally Horne was born today at 3.52pm
Weighing in at a big 9lb 11oz
Unfortunately Elizabeth had to have a emergency Caesarean at the end because of complications, but baby is absolutely fine.
And mum is fine if not sore and tired.

| Many thanks everyone! Elizabeth has looked online in hospital, and says thanks. She'll be in hospital till Saturday I guess. As someone else said, it is a really incredible thing, without getting all woosy on you guys. Also, thank goodness for the science and medical expertise that can save life threatening situations at the end. It was a scary moment that was all about making decisions there and then in the theatre. I was there asking the doctors the info, and relaying the choices and percentages to Elizabeth. Up to that moment Elizabeth had only had gas and air, and had gone full labour. So yes wonderful, but incredibly intense time! Here is Sally  | |

| Elizabeth is back in hospital.
Elizabeth has gradually got worse, feeling very poorly and very sore. So today I got the doctor out, and he sent her to hospital, and they have re-admitted her.
After a scan, they have found she has a hematoma in the right side of her abdomen, and has an infection too.
So she is in the best place.
