| Jo, As you know Elizabeth is pregnant. She's training some grip stuff when she can, but armwrestling in her 7 months gone condition, no. I'm sure she'll be back next year. | |

| I'll probably be having a go, not armwrestled for a year, well except some practice table fun the other day at Arm Wars.
So 110k class for me. | |

| was going to pull, but i see no sense in it as im an amatuer and for some one to say that holdin out for the novice does no one any favours? eh no.im 95 kilo and i think my first comp should be at that weight and versus a fellow novice! or is gettin hurt at the pro's and bein injured for the novice event a better plan ?i ask you ? | |

Every comp you can pull in is worth doing, Enter the 100kg class, the pro's know who is who and won't smash you through the table. The last thing any of us want to do is hurt a novice so they never come back to the sport. Also getting on the practice table after you pull is some of the best training you'll ever get. Also, the first comp i ever pulled, with no training whatsoever was the British open, it gave me a great deal of insite into the sport and the levels i would need to work towards inorder to have success, I drew against Gary Ricketts and Neil Pickup, both understood I was brand new and didn't do anything to hurt me, so 5 years later i'm still in the sport. | |

| Well said Dan! I reckon everyone should pull, if they are healthy.
In any sport, the best way to progress is to train & compete at levels higher than your own. Forget the haters & nay sayers, set your own goals.
