Gladiators night Flight/Hotel/Transport

Hi to everyone coming to Gladiators Comp.

Me and my partner Michelle and along with Paul Mitchell is on the easyjet flight out from Liverpool Flight no:7279 departing: 07:40 am arrives in Geneva, Switzeland. at :10:30 am.
Got a hire car with www.ebookers Picking a car up at 11:00am and driving to a place called CHATEL in France as its close to the border and only 19km from Monthey.

We was getting prices of 100 pounds per night in Monthey.

But we got one double room for £162 and a twin room for Paul which is also at £162.
Hotel Le Choucas.

We will then drive over the border into Switzerland to the Competition on Saturday, at Monthey.

We have asked about crossing Border and everything is ok.

But for anyone getting a car, you need to pay CHF 9 per day extra for winter tyres which is mandotary up until 15th April also same amount per day for an additional driver. CHF 9 works out at £5.80

We paid £202 BUT have to add an extra £48 when we get there for an additional driver and winter tyres.

WE HAVE A SPARE PLACE GOING IN CAR AND A ROOM TO SHARE WITH PAUL MITCHELL.
Obviously its just a matter of chucking in with car hire costs and going halves on room with Paul.

What we have got in Chatel is a double room for me and Michelle costing £165 for the entire stay.
Thats Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night which works out at £55 per night.

In Gare it cost CHF 145 which converts to £95 per night.

We got Paul Mitchell a twin room for same price, which works out at just £3 more per night than if he had stayed in De Le Gare BUT... IF there is anyone struggling to get accomadation Paul as twin room and would be glad to have someone share.

It would then work out at £27.50p each per night. Total costing 82.50p for accomadation.

Car Hire, we was going to get a volkswagon polo which was about £168.

But we decided to opt for an upgrade and get a BMW 1 Series

Anyways i know it worked out about 34 more for the BMW.

If anyone knows what one of these drives like, let us know. ?
