stopping going into a hook

what advice would you give at the begining of a match if the guy or girl that you are wrestling is trying to go into the hook but you want to keep away from the hook & go toproll how would you set up for that match

I would set up with my elbow to the front of the pad. This would give me the room i needed to drag my elbow back whilst attacking their lower fingers with my wrist for a low hand top roll.

Depending on wether it was a hook or high hook they were using, i would consider a posting top roll.
