It's a sign of a true professional attitude to the sport Nick and of the respect
you have for not only your fellow elite pro's but more importantly the novices.
The british events first and foremost need the support of the U.K.'s pro's
and i continue to have a great deal of respect for you for leading by example
and extending this opportunity to the guys involved in Rampage 3.
I have the desire to travel to both events if necessary over the two week
period but admit that your proposal will relieve some of the strain if it is accepted.
James you an extremely experienced arm wrestler and i also have a great
deal of respect for you but it is foolish to brush aside the british novice
comp with such a flippant attitude whilst being fully aware of the consequences
for many others involved.

If I have interpreted Nick's post correctly, he was asking if it would interfere with any plans or training people may have if the date was to be changed, and/or if novices wanted to compete in both. I cannot speak or post for anyone else. Therefore my comment Mark is a simple one, nothing more - nothing less.

I DONT MIND EITHER WAY - I am fine with what ever Nick proposes. If anyone else has any problems with a new date, they are free to post.

Sorry if that sounds flippant but that was not my intention, just my personal view and schedule towards preperations.

I thought it was all set for 27/11/10 and everyone was happy with 13 days rest after the British Novice

i am thinking of the 4th dec for the comp.. i will have to ask peter first...

the only person thats going to the worlds is keith taylor so i dont think he would be pulling at the rampage.. i will ask him.

I am considering having the comp later due to the lads pulling at the british novice so it give themselves 3 weeks to recover. I was reluctant to change the date initially as I am mindful of upsetting people who are already making plans.

Without the novice lads Rossendale Rampage would only have 8 supermatches and I would prefer everyone not only to be involved, but to be fit enough to compete evenly.

i really appreciate everyones comments, given that organising the event is a massive undertaking and i want it to be a success. balancing this against work, a farm to run and visiting my dad.

if anyone reading this is affected and hasnt posted i invite you to do so. the event is for the benefit of the whole british armwrestling scene, not just novices or pro's or any particular club.

No worries Nick, it's fine by me if you want to change the date of The Rampage to early December, i can sort it mate
