With all due respect to Dan, i think Nick will win this because of Nicks hand and wrist strength... it might be a bit to much for Dans top roll

Having never wrestled Dan who i no is coming along his recent performance against chris rimmer i have doubts to him beating nick, however i have wrestled Nick i would have to say Nick from a recent feeling of power,he seems to have got back some conffdence he lost after 2002 with injures and seemed to have a diffrent swagger about him, also being a very close friend of mine for many years i no he feels he has alot to prove to himself and others,people who have pulled with the shake for the last few years havent really pulled the nick at his best as running a club and constant teaching of pupils does hinder your own progress,so a fully focused injury free nick should dominate this match up(diffrent man than just a short few weeks ago)

so nick for me 3-0 or 5-1

I must say although i have giving the result against dan i want him to do well he has a great passion that few lack and hes a top bloke to boot and i expect big things from him in the near future,i must say hes a leading example to all already got his tickets for the worlds brillant dan well done

Likewise, Dan is a sound guy and i have a great deal of respect for him.
I believe Dan will come into his own as the match progresses and will be
able to to wear down Nicks hand and finger strength over 6 pins.
For that reason i'm sticking with my original guestimate:

Granted, i didn't perform to the level i was expecting at Arm Wars and no disrespect to Rimmer, but a wrist injury hampered my performance. Having talked to David Horne on the Sunday i've been training my wrist to rectify the problem. My hand strength is excellent at the moment and with another 6 weeks of hand and wrist i feel i'll be able to give Nick a hard time, also my hook is getting stronger all the time so don't be surprised to see me test myself inside with mr Hall.

I believe Nick's overall strength and knowledge will be too much for Dan. We have to remember Nick has wrestled with the countries best from many generations and has been extremely successful.

This will be a good match to watch.

Nick's hand strength will probably dictate the match. So for Dan to win he will have to beat Nick when Nick is in his power, and with his revived hunger.
