not sure about sky HD boxes, but my virgin HD box can record straight to dvd. alternatively, you could stream it thro a PC or laptop and record that way. depends on what kit & setup you have...shouldn't be a big challenge, best talking to a anorak.

I know you can connect the p.c. to your sky box, obk does it that way but he's not been online since January.

connect it up and understand how your pc 'see's' your skybox. it may just see it as a memory/storage device, no different from your mobile or digi camera my friend
