i think rimners right we always hav a good turnout in cumbria its a comp i always look forward to every year

hi people, GRANITE ARM will be happening on the 26th of june
and to make it easier the venue will be no more than ten minutes off the motorway ,so theres no excuse for not makeing a trip to the event now, hope this date is ok for everyone

hi ted what pro weights are you doing ? as fat bastards like me need plenty of warning to remove excess stella.

the classes will most probably be -70 -85 -100 and 100+,they are different to normal but i think everyone will agree they will make great matches ...............

I think ill be in the -100kg class then if the novice weights are the same as pro weights. My 85 kg days are over... too much turkey and stella over crimbo

The fact your getting stronger m8 your going to get bigger, same as myself.
Think i'm sitting around 88kg at the moment.
I wouldn't be surprised if some of the other 85kg novices move up a class.
Shows all the guys are training hard.

hi guys i think it will be an open class most probably, but i might include 3 novice classes also, just incase to alot of pros turn up and hog the classes ....i was thinking -70 -90 and 90+ what do people think...........

Yeah i know what your sayin mate, i was considerin goin on a diet for comps that are -85kg but dont want to lose power as well as weight so im gona try my luck with the big guys for the comps that are 85-100kg

Yeah Peter i agree with you 100%.
There's nothing worse than putting in hours of training to get stronger just
to end up going on a diet and feeling weak at the end of it.
It would work if the weigh-in was a day or two before the event but definitely
not on the same day.

Alright Ted, i definitely think -70 -90 & 90+ would be better.
For guys -90 pulling anyone up to 100 or 110+ is biting off more than
they can chew.

hi guys ,granite arm is still going ahead ,the date is 26th of june, nothing much organized yet but it will be soon .....

DAMM!!!!!! With the Scottish running on the 27th looks like the second
time i'm going to miss this comp.
