| Jason Brooks would like a match with David Horne (left) and Gary Rickets (right) at the Rossendale comp in March 2010. What do you think Nick? Any chance of setting this up? | |

| Yes I have the match with Neil lined up, and this is the best of 6 so I can't see me having much left for Jason, and I'd prefer to go against Neil fresh.
But I'd like to go against Jason again later. | |

| Why don't Jason & David Pull Lefty at The New Year Cup on January 23rd David could use it as a tune up match for me and would have plenty of time to recover for March | |

| Eight weeks is not a bad period in which to prep for a match Steve, I actually tend to use 9 weeks as my own prep indicator with the last week being rest off.
Also as I understood it Jason has been training for the last few weeks anyway
Cheers

| I dont feel i would be ready for Jan, is the short no frills answer (mentaly or physicaly) Training wise, im not the best or by far the most disaplined and have the recovery time of a 30yr old mountain goat (no idea but it sounds close lol) Consequently my training wavers between no training, over training and injury.. Due to this or age or bad diet (lol ) or a combination of all, recovery takes about 2-3 weeks sometimes more. Perhaps it's a mental thing but i dont feel i would be ready to offer a worthy challange for a while, and if i am beaten i want to make damn sure they have to work for it!! I mentioned David and Gary to Steve purely due to there names popping into my head first when he asked about matches, so its not a problem Any ideas for another match/s Training tips for the bone idle are welcome aswell lol And if anyone is anal about spelling and grammer, let me take this oppertunity to say a heart felt (looking for a suitable smiley, but cant find one....) ideas welcome here also | |
