Brenzk looked so solid it was unbelievable

How long can he sustain these younger guys ?

Hopefully there loads more to see from him

& is current world,european,national champion on both arm's at 80 kilo....

A well deserved win for Brzenk and 2nd for Rustam.

I'm not sure if anyone else watching it live noticed, but Rustam elbow fouled at the start of the final, then seemed to make a 2nd elbow foul later on before the strapped final.

It went to the outside refs (seemingly they'd call a win for John as it was a 2nd foul), but John was mouthing to the refs "strap match! strap match" obviously keen not to win on a foul but to really give Rustam a chance, now that's sporting!

John Brzenk is an absolute legend, his power and stamina is on a different level

Yeah, sporting and confident. How many others do you think would have done that if handed a win from Babayev

Yeah, i saw that too, shades of world champ reffing there, and big respect for John to want to carry on. It sucks to stop a match for fouls that have no bearing on the outcome. Rustam was looking solid and it seems John didn't want to beat such a worthy opponent on fouls.
