9 months min

Today i went for the scan and although my liver and kidney functions are getting something like my heart is still very weak,it has gone down in size and the medication iam using is helping,however i have been told that for the next 9 months till i see the consulant again i cant train for my sport i can just stay active,i may never be able to return that is a real possibilty but i could also may be able to return with a bang it all depends on the next 9 months,i guess i cant grumble i am here and still get to see my family and friends Very Happy

just remember you may not be able to compete for a while affraid

but im sure you will have lots of advice and your expertise will go a long long way in helping others achieve their dream of becoming a champ in the sport just like you . cheers

It's hard to find something to say to a man who deserves more than just words of support. In the relatively short space of time speaking to you through the forum and having the pleasure of meeting you in person, i have come to see you are respected and held dear by all because you yourself have given that respect to everyone around you. It is for that reason i feel you should focus 100% on yourself and your recovery, remember your only 31 years of age, a few years before you catch up with Nick. lol!

We're all pulling for you Paul, i am glad to hear the medication is working and your heart is mending. You have come through so much to still be here and your strength will take you the rest of the way.
