Battle of Britain

Ok a few years ago Julian Cini organised a north vs south comp for us boys in Engaland and for me it was the best event ive had the pleasure to have taken part in,so after a bit of thought it came to mind that we should hold another but England vs Scotland...

But with all due respect to Scotland if England sent there best team for now anyway it would be a one sided affair so first up with Nick Hall and myself we will pick a team of novices expreinced 1s which will compete in the cup,all myself and Nick need is a couple of Scottish counter parts to talk with to see what weights of pullers you have,experince,location,place,etc

I do think this will create awarness and get us in the public eye as well create excitement as international affairs do...let us no your thoughts??????????

That's a fantastic idea Paul, i'll talk to a few of the lads and see what they think. Big Owen is a member of the forum so he may have some input.

I have spoke to Nick about this before and I think that it is a good idea, we have pullers at most weights so am sure that we can get something arranged. Maybe even if you lads would like to come up and taste the scottish hospitality but that is something that we can maybe iron out along the way.

I will bring it up with Davie and the guys on Sunday and will post back on sunday evening.
