Release Pains Empty
PostSubject: Release Pains   Release Pains EmptySat 24 Jan - 22:55

I am sure we have all suffered this at some point, but what causes it - finishing a set and knowing it is going to sting if you release the weight too soon, and usually feels like tendons. Is it anything to do with not training opposites enough - or is it just one of those things. Any answers?

From my experience this is from the sudden unloading of the tendon as you release the weight. It happens when we pull statics and just release the tension all at once, the trick is to slowly let the tension off before releasing your grip. Hope this helps.

I have suffered this for years. releasing slow reduces the sting but is still there. I suppose it's like slipping in a match and going to straps - thats just as bad. No miracle cure then - just an occupational hazard.

Hi Nick - No it is more training back pressure. Usually on the back of the wrist and from the bottom of the hand to half way towards the elbow. Hope that makes sense.
