was great when Pushkar beat Cyplenkov leftie! in the first match of the +95kg final. He seemed too worn out to do it again though and seemed to tire out as the open went on, but it show Cyplenkov is beatable.

Hey guy's i tried watching this but ended up being p***** off... the live stream was terrible especially the matches i wanted to see Brzenk, Pickup etc. Anyone else have the same problem

Yeah, same for me, keep coming back to it but it freezes constantly, shocking web hosting from Justintv.

Watching the archive and Brzenk is looking very ordinary, not his usual self at all. Perhaps it's because he'd been training for 95's and didn't make weight so had to go in supers. Perhaps Neil could let us know more when he's finished.

Sucks to see every one laying down to Pushkar and Cyplenkov, John is playing the game also, just like everyone did when they layed down to Voevoda in 07, so he could be fresh against John.

Hmm, thought Brzenk might have an injury but it seems he was just playing possum early on to save his arm for overalls, there's no way he could lose as easy as he did if it wasn't a game plan.

john lost to babayev in about 2 tenths of a second. i think you're right about the injury though mate i've noticed he seems to be prone to bad elbows.

just my thoughts here, anyone else watching think that table needed to be bolted down?

Either bolt it down to the stage or make the base it's on bigger so the weight of the armwrestlers keep it stable, like Neil does for the British.

yep, theres a couple of ways round it, last match was ridiculous table almost tipped over.

In the online chat, Engin Terzi posted a message John had sent him a few weeks ago which basically said his left was destroyed by Travis recently, and his right has terrible golfers and tennis elbow to the point he had no choice but to rest for all of the last month. He was only going along because he'd promised Igor he'd show up and that he'd try his best to slow down the heavyweights a bit.

Another poster said he weighed in at 95kg but chose to compete in the heavys anyway, whether this is true or not I don't know.

leon from what i heard, john was going to pull the 95's but couldn't make the weight so was forced to pull the superheavies.
