If they are training with a good club and coach, they shouldn't pick up any bad habbits, but i would say use perfect form on every exercise, this goes for any one who's lifting weights whether or not they armwrestle.

Not everyone who joins the forum may be with a club or have a coach. At least they may find some safe guidance here, could anyone elaborate on "good form".

Also keep your shoulder behind your hand, don't rotate so that your chest is 90 degrees to the table and in line with, or in front of the hand. When lifting weights use slow controlled movements, don't swing the hips and back to get the weights moving.

Sound advice. If people are interested in arm wrestling but aren't located near any professional clubs, as well as this forum, were could they get sound advice?
